Job Description
Job Summary:
The Field Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating field operations for the project implementation. This position requires a dynamic and proactive individual capable of successfully executing projects or tasks within designated areas. The Field Supervisor will collaborate work closely with the project office, communicate effectively with field teams, and maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency in all field activities.
Responsibilities:
A. Planning and Implementation:
- Plan the task breakdown, project implementation time, cost of resources in coordination with the Line Manager.
- Conduct Feasibility survey for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Services in Health Care Facilities, Schools and Communities.
- Implement construction work as per the design and estimation with quality assurance.
- Conduct Behavioral Change & Communication related trainings in Healthcare facilities, Schools and communities.
B. Coordination and Communication:
- Conduct meetings with Management committee and stakeholders.
- Arrange logistics for the workshops and seminars.
C. Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and compile reports related to project activities daily, weekly, and monthly to the line manager and prepare work schedule for reporting, implementation and work completion in time.
- Manage to list out the materials, tools, equipment needed for the project.
- Develop the visibility, monthly progress report format, working schedule for reporting, implementation and work completion in time.
D. Field Visit, Monitoring and Capacity Building:
- Monitor and Supervise WASH activities at site to ensure the project activities are as per project plan.
- Attend trainings and workshops as per the need of project with the consultation of the line manager.
